Kessben University College Celebrates Staff Achievement: Muntaka Awarded MSc in Information Technology
Kessben University College proudly congratulates Mr. Abubakr Siddique Muntaka on being awarded a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Mr. Muntaka’s academic journey and professional contributions continue to make a meaningful impact on the university community.
Mr. Muntaka, who has served as the IT Manager of Kessben University College since 2015, also supports the School of Physical Sciences as a Technical Instructor as well as Kessben Group IT projects consultant. His new academic qualification further enhances the University’s commitment to combining theory with strong practical application, a hallmark of hands-on teaching philosophy.
Over the years, Mr. Muntaka has led numerous IT projects at the University, including the deployment of secure server environments, open-source academic systems, network infrastructure, and digital library solutions. His practical skills have directly benefited student learning, system reliability, and staff capacity building.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Muntaka has made notable contributions to academic research. His publication was recognized internationally and published by the International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA), a publication of the Foundation of Computer Science, Inc. (USA).
The University’s Management, led by Chancellor Mr. Stephen Boateng (Mr. Kesse), commended Mr. Muntaka’s dedication, describing his success as a proud reflection of the institution’s development.
“Mr. Muntaka’s achievement is not just a personal milestone but an institutional one. His knowledge and contributions continue to shape the quality of our technology, education and services,” a statement from the Management read.
