Kessben College police station commissioned at Kuntenase

Ultra modern Police post constructed by the management of Kessben College for the Kessben College students and the entire Kuntanase community was today commissioned by the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye. In attendance was the Kuntenase hene, Nana Kwedjan.

The facility was constructed at a cost of 285 thousand Ghana Cedis.

The new Police post is equipped with a five bedroom apartment with toilet, bathroom and a kitchen. Also attached to it is three fully furnished unit administrative offices, a charge office and a cell.

Mr. Kwabena Kesse who is the CEO of Kessben Group of Companies later donated two motor bikes to help in the movement of police personnel who will be on duty.

Mr.Kesse, who is the Chancellor of the College, expressed the hope that the facility which forms part of the college’s social responsibility   will help ensure the safety of both students and the entire residents of Kuntenase.

He assured the gathering that he would continue to contribute his quota towards providing a conducive environment for the development of the area.

Speaking at the commissioning, the Ashanti Regional Police Commander DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye thanked the chancellor for what he described as a wonderful gesture to support the police course.
